How many hours of sleep do children and teenagers need?
Newborns (0-3 months): 🕰️ 14-17 hours daily.
Infants (4-11 months): 🕰️ 12-15 hours daily.
Toddlers (1-2 years): 🕰️ 11-14 hours daily.
Preschoolers (3-5 years): 🕰️ 10-13 hours daily.
School-aged children (6-12 years): 🕰️ 9-12 hours daily.
Teenagers (13-18 years): 🕰️ 8-10 hours daily.
What time should they go to bed?
If your child needs to wake up at 7:00 a.m., these are the recommended bedtimes:
Preschoolers (3-5 years): 🌙 Between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Elementary school children (6-12 years): 🌙 Between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Teenagers (13-18 years): 🌙 Between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
